Das nicht-kleinzellige Lungenkarzinom (NSCLC) im Stadium III stellt eine therapeutische Herausforderung mit mehreren Behandlungsoptionen dar. Die American Association of Chest Physicians empfiehlt in ihren Leitlinien für Patienten im klinischen Stadium IIIA (N2), dass sie nach der Induktionstherapie nicht operiert werden sollten, allenfalls im Rahmen klinischer Studien.
