ESGE Research Grants: We are open for applications!
September 1, 2022 marks the opening of our call for research grant applications.
ESGE Research Grants support innovative, original research in gastroenterology. Potential contenders submit their research idea online. Our research committee reviews the applications and the top-rated proposals are selected. These applicants then take part in the ESGE Research Champions Den, at ESGE Days, where a jury of eminent researchers quiz the candidates, live. The best two or three are awarded research grants.
Dr Milou van Riswijk was one of three grant winners at ESGE Days 2022; “The ESGE Champions’ Den was a great experience. I really enjoyed meeting the experts, and the discussions that took place helped me to shape and fine-tune our research idea and future publication. Participating also helped me to build my international network as a junior researcher. I would definitely recommend applying for a grant!”
Deadline for applications is November 30, 2022.
